Analysts point out that the growth in the country should remain robust, private consumption will prove resilient, GDP will grow between 3.3 and 3.6% while inflation will gradually increase.

The Johannesburg event was the fourth in the 2017-2018 czcle and the second with Meronk's participation. He had competed in Australia at the end of November.
Meronk had enjoyed a dominating run on the amateur circuit when he made his professional debut on the European Tour at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 2016. DI spoke to the golfer earlier to find out what drew him to the sport and what his future plans are.
