Poland to contribute to world order

January 1 marked the beginning of Poland's non-permanent membership at the UN Security Council.

For the next two years the country will be able to promote its policy priorities and contribute to world order, Poland’s officials have said.
“We are going to represent our region but we will tackle all key issues to promote peace worldwide. International law is a guarantee for international peace. Respect of that law warrants peace on Earth,” Polish president Andrzej Duda said.
