As the media consistently report on cases of offences being increasingly committed in broad daylight and in the presence of onlookers, the organisers behind the recently launched "We need to change it" campaign strive to galvanise the public into action.
"People are mostly afraid to react, they don't know how to react or they assume others will," campaign co-organiser Anna Bielecka told Q&A host Alicja Baczyńska.
As research commissioned by the organisers shows, 60 percent of people would not stand up to the challenge and simply back out of a dangerous situation, leaving victims to fend for themselves.
