Poles more optimistic than pessimistic about future: survey

Forty-seven percent of Poles claim that things in the country are going in the right direction.

Meanwhile, 36 percent look into the future with pessimism, according to a survey by pollster CBOS.
In comparison with a similar survey a month ago, the proportion of optimists shrank by 6 percentage points while that of pessimists increased by 7 points.
The number of Poles according to whom the country's economy is in good shape decreased by 4 percentage points over the same period.
The survey was conducted between November 29 and December 9 on a representative group of 942 adult respondents.
