The country’s Central Anticorruption Bureau will take on 500 more agents over the next two years, increasing its manpower by 50 percent, according to the paper.

The bureau will also receive at least PLN 80 million (USD 23m, EUR 19m) more in funding within two years, the daily reported.

Meanwhile, 47 percent of Poles approve of the work of the Central Anticorruption Bureau, up 9 percentage points on a year ago, Rzeczpospolita said.

The paper added, citing a survey by pollster IBRiS, that 31 percent of Poles are critical of the bureau, while 22 percent do not have an opinion.
