Tigers, leopards, lynxes and pumas have been discovered during a police raid on an exotic animal breeding farm in western Poland.

Police on Thursday raided the property amid suspicions that a breeder may have been keeping animals without the necessary permits.
Animal rights activists and people from a nearby zoo were also at the raid.
“Currently we are checking what animals these are, the state they are in and the conditions in which they have been kept,” a police officer said, adding: “We are also checking the paperwork.”
He said it was “plain to see” that animal rights may have been violated.
The fates of the animals will be decided after police finish their checks. (vb/pk)
