The 40-year-old man is also suspected of filming and photographing pornographic scenes involving his son, and distributing them online.
Police said they are on track to bust a “paedophile network”. They are looking into people who may have worked with the suspect, who police allege may have offered his son to other paedophiles.
The detention of the Polish man follows the 17 February detention of another Polish man, who was residing in Bucharest and had allegedly distributed child pornography online.
The 40-year-old was surprised when police approached him and denied claims against him until he was shown evidence of his paedophile activities and admitted to the charges.
The six-year-old boy has been placed in foster care. (vb/pk)
