No one was injured in the incident on Sunday between the Airbus 320 aircraft, flying the livery of Russia's Aeroflot, and a Polish plane operated by sprintAir.
“The Airbus 320 was taxiing for takeoff. Its wings clipped those of a smaller aircraft operated by sprintAIR,” a spokesman for the airport told the TVN broadcaster.
“The sprintAIR airplane was empty. There were passengers on the Russian plane, but none were injured,” he added.
The passengers of the Russian plane had to wait some eight hours for a second plane to be sent over. (rg)
