Snow hits Poland in mid-March

A smattering of snow hit Poland on Monday night, just a couple of weeks ahead of the advent of spring.

The snowy conditions are expected to continue on Tuesday, with between one and four centimetres of snow in the central and southeastern region of the country. (rg)
