The animals, which included a white-tailed eagle, a common buzzard, a goshawk and a European black kite, had been weaned back to full strength at the Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre in Wielgowo, Szczecin.
The centre, which was founded in 2008, takes in about 2,000 animals per year and is staffed by volunteers.
Birds are the most frequent patients, but beavers, deer, wild boar, ducks, squirrels and foxes are also regular guests.
Pets including turtles, ferrets and rabbits are likewise looked after at the centre.
The most exotic visitors to date have been an Indian cobra and a Gaboon viper. (nh/rk)
