''DudaBus is a Polish product, [created from] Polish technical expertise,'' he told journalists.
''This is what we lack and what we need to rebuild,'' he continued.
''This is also one of the themes of my campaign.
''I want to re-industrialize the country, because only the revival of Polish industry will give the young a chance of a decent life in Poland,'' he claimed.
A recent opinion poll by TNS Polska indicated that Duda would garner 19 percent of the votes, while current head of state Bronisław Komorowski would manage 53 percent.
Komorowski resigned his membership of ruling centre-right party Civic Platform in 2010, when he was elected to the presidency.
However, Civic Platform has endorsed him in his bid to win a second term.
Meanwhile, maverick eurosceptic MEP Janusz Korwin-Mikke of the newly-founded Coalition for the Restoration of Freedom and Hope to the Republic party inaugurated his campaign over the weekend.
According to the TNS Polska poll, Korwin-Mikke would muster a 2 percent share of the vote. (nh)
