  • Dateline Warsaw - smolensk fatigue?
Are Poles suffering 'Smolensk disaster fatigue' following the second anniversary of the catastrophe which killed President Lech Kaczynski and 95 others in western Russia?

Welcome to Dateline Warsaw, where journalists chew over this week's top news stories.

In the studio this week we have The Daily Telegraph's central European correspondent Matthew Day, and Aleksander Nowacki, journalist from the Mergerarket FT Group in Warsaw.

Also in the show this week: has Polish-American journalist Alex Storozynski and the Kosciuszko Foundation gone too far this time by complaining that a CNN presenter laughed at some of Poland's more idiosyncratic Easter holiday rituals?

And after a man heard charges of insulting Poland's president, following setting up a web site depicting Bronislaw Komorowski as “a prostitute, homosexual, drunkard and participant in sexual activity,” we ask: is it time to end the law making it illegal to insult the head of state in Poland?

Apologies - this programme first appeared on this web site Sunday evening, 48 hours after it is usually published online. This was due to technical difficulties.
