Warsaw, London to keep defence cooperation even after Brexit
The governments of Poland and Great Britain will continue their security and defence cooperation even if Britain leaves the European Union, Polish senator Anna Maria Anders on Monday told a meeting in the UK parliament. Anders underscored the importance of collaboration within the Alliance, especially in the face of Moscow's annexation of the Crimea region of Ukraine in 2014. The meeting was arranged by Daniel Kawczyński, a British conservative MP of Polish descent.
