LOT Polish airlines have been systematically expanding their offer of direct connections between destinations across Poland and Israel

Sławek Szefs reports that the route has been a profit making venture for the carrier attracting a wide array of passengers.
"These are Poles intent on visiting Tel Aviv as religiously motivated tourists as well as those who wish to benefit from holiday attractions offered in the Mediterranean Sea region. Travelling in the opposite direction to Poland are Jews who want to visit Holocaust remembrance sites but not only that," Konrad Majszyk from LOT, told Polish Radio.
