How Warsaw's Progresja rock club is collecting dog food for Korabiewice animal shelter
Once sadly maladministered, and home to a host of animals, including brown bears, Korabiewice received a new lease of life when it was taken over by the Viva! foundation. But the shelter still needs a hundred kilogrammes of feed daily. This is where Progresja decided to pitch in with their campaign, as Viva's Cezary Wyszyński and the club's Marta Górska tell Elżbieta Krajewska.
The collection continues until December 20.
Now, the daily effort to feed the four-legged inmates has been joined by a most unlikely ally - the metal and rock community, with a campaign spearheaded by the Warsaw-based club Progresja.
Radio Polan's Elżbieta Krajewska finds out more from the club's Marta Górska and Viva's Cezary Wyszyński.
The collection continues until December 20th and every little bit counts, as the shelter needs about a hundred kilogrammes of dog food daily.
