Located in a former vodka distillery, Campus Warsaw is the first of Google’s communities for entrepreneurs and startups in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Google executives are sure Poland is the best place to help the region develop and grow as they believe Poland is a magnet for the CEE region.
“If you’re an amazing technical person whether from the Czech Republic or Lithuania, Warsaw is a magnet for these particular people,” said Sarah Drinkwater, the head of the London campus.
“I think Warsaw is a convening city whether it’s the Polish founders or founders from the CEE region. We see it as being the best place for campus to be.”
