However, it is in fact a robot which can be used for some serious tasks, not only by the Naval Academy.

It also has its own 'inteligence' which allows it to move and navigate autonomously. Meet Poland's first cyberfish - an underwater mobile robot created by three young engineers: Marcin Malec, Marcin Morawski, Dominik Wojtas - graduates of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Krakow University of Technology.

They came up with the idea during a bionics class and modelled the robot on a carp. Danuta Isler talked to Marcin Morawski during the Interactive Festival of Robots recently held at the capital's Museum of Technology to find out more.
