The European Union of Women is an organisation focused on helping women take active part in civic and political life. it groups, among others, such representatives of the right wing of the political scene as Britain's Conservative Party, Germany's CDU and CSU, and Austria's OVP.
Poland is one of the EUW's 21 members - and the Polish chapter this year is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
At the jubilee conference, Elżbieta Krajewska spoke to the organisation's first president, Ewa Strumiłło, vice-president of the European Union of Women Margaret Hales and Bobbie Middleton of Europe Alive which promotes exchange visits between EUW member countries - both in Warsaw for the occasion.
