Q&A :: The ABCs of GDP

A growing number of educational programmes ushers children into the world of economy. Overall figures, however, continue to show that the level of economic knowledge among Poles is alarmingly low.

"Students who never participated in professional educational programmes tend to believe that rich people are more dishonest, and they would be more eager to take out a loan just for holidays" says Krakow-based Małgorzata Marchewka, researcher who gauged the youth's knowledge on economy and attitude towards money issues.

"Very often, they confuse economy with...ecology," she told Q&A host, Alicja Baczyńska.
