Poland’s new sports minister Andrzej Biernat did not get off to a good start in his new job, following the government reshuffle, when he was unable to name the newly elected head of the International Olympic Committee.

Neither did new coach of the national footbal squad, Adam Nawalka whose team lost 0:2 in their debut friendly with Slvoakia and drew 0:0 with Ireland a few days later with both games played on the home ground.
