In our sports feature this week: as has been expected, Poland sacked coach Waldemar Fornalik after World Cup qualification failure.

A new coach is to be appointed within two weeks, favourites for the post are thought to be Górnik Zabrze's Adam Nawałka and Pogon Szczecin's Dariusz Wdowczyk.
Also in the program:
- Some 2,800 athletes from more than 80 countries, including Poland, are due to compete at the Sochi Games which will last from Feb 7 to 23, 2014. The Polish squad will reportedly number between 50 and 60 athletes, among them snowboarder Mateusz Ligocki who's a medal favorite.
