Barolo makes friends in Poland

The average consumption of wine in Poland per capita is a little over three liters, annually. The relatively young market, however, is growing rapidly.

"A lot of people are switching from hard liquor to wine - it’s getting more and more popular... Every year we see the growth,"

says Bartosz Koszminer, director of a wine-trading company who attended the road show.

Our reporter Veronika Joy went to the tasting organised by exporters of Italy's fine grape produce, and found out how they plan to conquer the hearts of Polish wine enthusiasts.
