FOCUS TOMASZ MOSCICKI INTERVIEW.mp3
We talk about a fascinating book on the theatre life in German-occupied Warsaw.
In his book 'Warsaw Theatres 1944-1945' Tomasz Mościcki (pictured) paints a vivid picture of cultural life during World War Two on the basis of thorough research. He probes into the moral dilemmas facing Polish actors regarding their performances in the theatres which were allowed by the Germans to function.
His book has received the City of Warsaw annual literary prize.
