Formula 1 fans will find out this Friday if driver Robert Kubica will join up with the Ferrari team.
The 27-year-old Kubica was seriously injured in the Ronde di Andora rally in February 2011.
It had been feared he might never race at the highest level again.
His right hand was partially severed and he suffered broken bones in his right leg and arm, requiring three separate major operations totalling 24 hours.
"Ferrari is already waiting for Kubica, who is working hard to return to health,” Derapate.it writes.
The Polish driver is expected to take up with his new team in June, although his return may be delayed for a while.
The ex-Lotus-Renault team driver was between 2006 and 2009 a driver for the BMW Sauber F1 team. In June 2008, he won his maiden F1 victory in the Canadian Grand Prix.
The 2012 Formula 1 season begins on 18 March with the Australian Grand Prix.(jh)
