Polish-born kicker Sebastian Janikowski has ended his career after 19 years in America’s National Football League.

From 2000 to 2016 Janikowski, now 41, played for the Oakland Raiders.
He missed the 2017 season because of injury. Last year he appeared for the Seattle Seahawks.
Janikowski played in the 2003 Super Bowl, when the Raiders lost 21:48 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He is one of four Poles who have played in the NFL. The others were Czesław Marcol, Ryszard Szaro and Zbigniew Maniecki.
