New head coach for Polish ski-jumping team

Czech Michal Doležal has been named as the new head coach of the Polish men’s ski-jumping team.

He replaces Austrian Stefan Horngacher, who on Sunday said he was stepping down after a successful three seasons with the Polish team.
Doležal was until now assistant coach under Horngacher.
Poland were on Sunday crowned as the top team of the World Cup season at a ceremony in Planica, Slovenia.
Polish ski jumpers dominated this World Cup season as a team, winning the circuit's Nations Cup overall.

Poland's top ski jumper Kamil Stoch, a three-time Olympic champion, finished third in the overall World Cup standings, ahead of countrymen Piotr Żyła and Dawid Kubacki.
Kubacki this month took the gold and Stoch grabbed the silver in the normal hill event at the Nordic world ski championships in Austria.
