Ahead of the match, Polish coach Jacek Nawrocki said Germany would be the Poles’ toughest rival in the fourth week of the tournament.
Poland has won five of its 11 matches in the tournament so far, after beating Argentina on Tuesday and South Korea, China and Italy earlier in the competition.
The Poles are set to face Belgium on Thursday and the Dominican Republic, Japan and Russia in the fifth and final week of the preliminary round of the tournament.
The top five teams in the preliminary round and host nation China will compete in the finals.
Poland are ranked ninth after their 11th game, while the US are in the lead with ten wins and one loss.
Sixteen national teams are competing in the tournament, which in 2018 replaced the World Grand Prix.
The Nations League final will be held in China on July 1. (vb/pk)
