Stoch wins Four Hills ski jump comp

Ski jumper Kamil Stoch has won the 66th Four Hills tournament, becoming the first Pole and the second person ever to win at all of the competition's four venues.

With the win, Stoch secured the top spot on the World Cup leaderboard.
After jumping further in the first round of jumps in Austria's Bischofshofen on Saturday, Stoch's rivals set the bar very high for the second round.
In his second attempt, Stoch soared exactly the 137 metres needed to take out the day's event with 3.2 points more than number two Anders Fannemel from Norway and 5.1 points more than number three Andreas Wellinger from Germany.
Poland's Dawid Kubacki came in ninth in Bischofshofen and sixth in the tournament.
Saturday was Stoch's second Four Hills overall win after receiving the top score last year, despite taking out only one event, at Bischofshofen.
The Four Hills tournament, which is part of the ski-jumping World Cup circuit, features four competitions taking place in Germany and Austria every year.
The 2017/2018 ski-jumping World Cup features a total of 31 competitions, including eight team events, in eight countries.
Stoch is a two-time Sochi Winter Olympics champion and the winner of the 2013/2014 World Cup.
Germany's Sven Hannawald became the first ever person to win at all four Four Hills venues in the 2001/2002 season. (vb/pk)
