Football: Poland’s Lewandowski fails to make it onto FIFA dream team

Poland captain and Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski has failed to make it onto the FIFA Team of the Year 2017.

Lewandowski was among the 55 players nominated for the dream team by football’s international governing body FIFA and FIFPro, a worldwide organisation for professional footballers.
The stars who made it onto the Team of the Year are:
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Buffon (Italy/Juventus).
Defenders: Dani Alves (Brazil/Paris Saint-Germain), Leonardo Bonucci (Italy/Milan), Sergio Ramos (Spain/Real Madrid), Marcelo (Brazil/Real Madrid).
Midfielders: Andres Iniesta (Spain/Barcelona), Toni Kroos (Germany/Real Madrid), Luka Modric (Croatia/Real Madrid).
Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal/Real Madrid), Lionel Messi (Argentina/Barcelona), Neymar (Brazil/Paris Saint-Germain).
