Borussia was scheduled to play in Dortmund, in Germany's west, against AS Monaco at 8:45 pm CET on Tuesday.
Poland's Łukasz Piszczek plays as a defender for the German team while Kamil Glik plays in defence for Monaco.
Bartra was taken to hospital after the explosion, which is believed to have caused shards of glass from the bus's window to injure his arm.
Fans awaiting the game at the stadium were told they were not in danger before being allowed to leave the site.
The match has been rescheduled for Wednesday 6:45pm. (vb/pk)
