Poland's Włodarczyk nets gold medal after Russian athlete disqualification?

The disqualification of a Russian gold winner at the London 2012 Olympics means that Polish silver medallist Anita Włodarczyk will likely be retroactively given the medal.

Russian hammer thrower Tatyana Lysenko was stripped of the medal she won at the 2012 Olympics in London by the International Olympics Committee (IOC) after testing positive for drugs in a retest.
“Re-analysis of Lysenko’s samples from London 2012 resulted in a positive test for the prohibited substance turinabol,” the IOC wrote in a statement.
The IOC requested the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) to “modify the results of the above-mentioned event accordingly and to consider any further action within its own competence.”
The gold medal would bring Anita Włodarczyk's total Olympic gold medals to two, after she won gold at this year's event in Rio.
Włodarczyk is considered to be “the greatest women’s hammer thrower of all time” according to the IAAF. She is the only woman to ever throw the hammer farther than 80m, with a record breaking throw of 82.98m in August. (rg)
