Poland’s Radwańska advances in Beijing

Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwańska defeated Russia’s Yekaterina Makarova 6:3, 6:4 on Monday, advancing to the third round of the WTA tournament in Beijing.

The match lasted one hour and 34 minutes. Radwańska served well, with four aces under her belt.
In the first round in Beijing, Radwańska registered a swift 6:2, 6:2 victory over the hosts’ Quiang Wang.
In the third round, she will face the winner of a match between Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki, with whom she competed recently in Tokyo and Wuhan, and Italy’s Roberta Vinci. (mol/pk)
