Rio Paralympics: Polish kayaker wins sixth gold

Kayakers Jakub Tokarz and Kamila Kubas won the gold and bronze medal respectively at the Paralympics in Rio.

These two medals brings Poland’s total up to 26 medals: six gold, 12 silver and eight bronze.

Ninety Polish athletes with disabilities are competing in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

At the London 2012 Paralympics, Poles won 36 medals and took ninth place in the overall medals classification. (rg)
