Radwańska trounces Cornet in first Miami match

Poland's Agnieszka Radwańska got off to a flying start in the Miami Open, defeating Alizé Cornet in straight sets 6-0, 6-1.

The World No.2 had a bye into the second round, and she managed to wrap up the match in just 68 minutes.
“The first match is always tricky and it doesn't matter who you're playing, that's why I'm very happy to have such a good first match,” she said.
“Here today the conditions were really hot and humid.
“We all have to prepare for that and it's not going to be easy in the next few days,” she said.
The Kraków-born star won the Miami Open in 2012, although last year her campaign was brought to an end in the fourth round. (nh/pk)
