Four Poles arrested after clash with Sevilla fans in Manchester

Four Polish men were arrested in Manchester after apparently attacking Sevilla supporters who were due to attend Wednesday's Champion's League match against Manchester City.

The suspects are allegedly supporters of Polish side Śląsk Wrocław.
British journalists have reported that as many as 25 fans of the Polish team descended on the Spaniards at a bar in the city.
Footage shows chairs being thrown between members of the warring groups.
When police arrived, the participants attempted to flee. One man had to be treated at the scene by paramedics.
The incident was supposedly a revenge attack for an incident that occurred in Andalucia two years ago, on the occasion of a Europa League match. A Polish bus carrying fans was attacked by Sevilla supporters, and the Poles lost three club flags, a loss that is considered to be a stain on the club's honour. Śląsk Wrocław was later ridiculed by other Polish football fans.
According to a 2011 census, 0.5 million Poles are resident in England and Wales. Most arrived after Poland joined the EU in 2004. (nh/rk)
