Former Polish presidents help promote Chicago Bulls sponsorship

Former presidents of Poland Bronisław Komorowski and Lech Wałęsa helped promote a freshly signed sponsorship deal on Monday between US basketball club Chicago Bulls and Polish company Cinkciarz.

Foreign currency exchange firm Cinkciarz has signed a seven-year deal with the club, with the company set to open its first US outlet in Chicago in 2016.
Chicago is regarded as the most Polish city in America, with a longstanding Polish community that currently takes in about 7 percent of the city's inhabitants.
“The Chicago Bulls are an American legend, a pop culture icon,” enthused Cinkciarz Vice President Piotr Kiciński.
“It means many positive things in Poland,” he added.
“We want to be part of the story of the Chicago Bulls.”
The team was founded in 1966 and celebrated former Bulls players include Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. (nh/rk)
