Three million litres of water will be poured into the specially built pool for the event.
“According to our calculations, it will take two days, or maybe a little shorter, 40 hours,” said Piotr Glinski, a spokesman for the PL 2012+ company which manages the stadium.
“The water will pour non-stop.”
The vast pool will be 90m long, 30m wide and 1.5m deep, and it could apparently accommodate 20 M-16 fighter planes.
A wind machine will run along one side of the pool, creating winds of up to 70 km per hour.

Seventy contestants from ten countries will be taking part in the world cup, and the tournament runs from 5 September to 7 September. (nh)
