Sneak preview to Warsaw Jewish history museum

The much-anticipated Museum of the History of the Polish Jews will open its doors to the public next Friday to honor the 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Jewish Ghetto Uprising.

Polish Preisdent Bronislaw Komorowski, mayor of Warsaw, as well as delegates from the Polish government and representatives of Jewish communities in Poland and around the world will participate in a special memorial event in front of the Monument to the Heroes of the Ghetto.
The opening of the museum, under construction since 2007, will signal the begining of a rich and diverse program of educational activities, says the museum's curators.
Polish Radio reporters Hagay Hacohen and Veronika Joy were invited to take part in a guided tour of the Museum of the history of Polish Jews.
