Poland's biggest telephone company, TPSA has launched a rebranding campaign to blend in with its parent company, France Telekom, owner of mobile network operator Orange.
Maciej Witucki, Chief Executive of TPSA, confirmed at a press conference on Monday that by the end of May this year, all TPSA stores in Poland will have been rebranded to echo the Orange model.
All products offered by TPSA will be harmonised with the internationally recognised Orange brand.
“The rebranding is the result of a lot of work,” Witucki said.
“We're realising it in keeping with the budget,” he assured.
“All the direct costs of rebranding... will be shared under a license agreement by Orange
Brand Services and will not affect the company's financial data,” he added.
TPSA is set to pay a license fee of 1.6 percent from sales of rebranded operations.
Orange was founded in the UK in 1993, enjoying vast success as a mobile phone operator and internet service provider.
The company was purchased by France Telecom in 2000, which currently has a 50 percent stake in TPSA. (nh/pg)
