A host of politicians, entrepreneurs and experts, led by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, were expected to attend the 2nd Vision for Development Forum in the coastal city of Gdynia.
The two-day event at the city’s naval academy aimed to debate challenges including new technology, climate policy, maritime management and entrepreneurship, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
It quoted Marcin Horała, a lawmaker for Poland’s governing conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party, as saying that the main goal of the conference was to talk about ways of making the best possible use of the country's economic potential and to look for ideas “on how to plan our development in the coming decades.”
