The agency also upheld its GDP growth forecast for Poland in 2020 at 3.5 percent, while revising upward its projection for Polish economic growth in 2021 to 3 percent from the 2.8 percent it forecast earlier, Poland’s PAP news agency has reported.
Fitch, one of the world’s "Big Three" credit rating agencies, in March affirmed Poland's "A-" credit rating with a stable outlook, citing the country’s “diversified economy and strong macroeconomic fundamentals, supported by a sound economic policy framework, and strong banking sector.”
Poland’s investment and development minister said this month that the Polish economy was on track to grow no less than 4.5 percent in 2019.
