French connection: new contract for Poland’s Solaris

Poland’s Solaris Bus & Coach company says it has been selected to supply 22 trolleybuses for the French city of Saint-Etienne.
Solaris is to deliver all the vehicles in stages by 2022 in a contract worth over EUR 17 million, according to Polish state news agency PAP.
The company is a leading European manufacturer of public transport vehicles.
It employs over 2,300 in Poland and close to 300 in its foreign branches.
To date it has delivered almost 17,000 vehicles to 32 countries around the world, PAP reported.
