Polish industrial production up 6.8% in June yoy: stats office

Industrial production in Poland grew 6.8 percent in June compared with the same month last year, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Wednesday.

Industrial production last month was 4.2 percent higher than in May, the statistical office reported.
Meanwhile, output in the construction-and-assembly sector shot up by 24.7 percent in June in year-on-year terms, the office said.
Builders in Poland completed 6.3 percent more homes in the first six months of this year than in the same period in 2017, according to the Central Statistical Office.
