Trade deficit for Poland in January

Poland had a foreign trade deficit of PLN 2 billion in January, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Monday.

In January 2017 Poland saw a trade surplus of PLN 1.9 billion.
In the whole of 2017, Poland notched up a trade surplus of EUR 400 million, the statistical office said last month.
Exports totalled EUR 203.7 billion while imports were worth EUR 203.3 billion last year, according to the office. Exports were 10.2% up on 2016 while imports grew 12.3%.
