According to a survey run by pollster IBRiS, 43 percent want shops to remain open every Sunday.
In September, the Polish government drew up a bill to restrict trade across Poland on two Sundays a month.
However, only 9 percent of those questioned in the IBRiS survey supported the proposed new law. Meanwhile, 63 percent of the respondents considered the proposed new regulations bad or very bad.
The ban would take effect on 1 January 2018 if passed by parliament. (aba/pk)
