Environmental protection conference in Poland’s Poznań

Several hundred public administration officials, academics and businessmen from across Europe have flocked to the western Polish city of Poznań for this year's International Environmental Protection Congress (Envicon).

The annual event, which opens on Monday and runs until Tuesday, includes sessions and panel discussions addressing issues such as waste and water management, renewable energy sources, sustainable transport and electromobility.
This year’s conference will feature about 60 speakers from various countries.
