The biggest US bank by assets "will open its headquarters and within a few years there will be several thousand new people working here, with skills such as data management, risk management and credit risk management," Mateusz Morawiecki told public broadcaster Polish Radio.
JP Morgan Chase operates in more than 50 countries.
Morawiecki, who is also deputy prime minister, said earlier this month that the bank wanted to open an office in Poland. He was speaking while on a trip to the United States, where he met JP Morgan bosses in New York.
