"Zachodniopomorskie and Szczecin are an area in need of major revitalization," he told TVP Info.
"Poland cannot turn its back to the sea," he said.
Asked whether Szczecin has a chance to once again become one of the top Polish cities, he said that "this is the aim of the government’s wishes and efforts."
According to him, Zachodniopomorskie and Szcecin so far have not had good transport connections, but there are changes afoot.
"Today this is changing, soon the S3 road from Szczecin to the southern border in Lubawka will be ready. Thanks to this, trade with the Czech Republic will also improve prosperity in Zachodniopomorskie," said the minister. (mol)
