PAIiIZ chairman Tomasz Pisula said that the regions are the “most promising” for Polish companies.
Pisula said that in recent months, the agency – which aims to promote Polish business overseas as well as draw foreign industries to Poland – overhauled a sales office in Shanghai, as well as opened new offices in Singapore, Vietnam and Nairobi, the Kenyan capital.
A similar office has been registered in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
PAIiIZ plans to have a total of 60 such offices worldwide, which would help Polish entrepreneurs find and expand into new markets.
This year, PAIiIZ assisted in investments amounting to EUR 1.3 billion, and helped create 12,000 jobs in Poland.
In the pipeline for the next few years are 190 investments worth around EUR 4.2 billion. (rg)
