Clinical trials, an important niche of the pharmaceutical industry, tend to prosper in less wealthy countries with relatively well-developed medical services, daily Puls Biznesu reports.
As both Poland and Ukraine fit the description, both are among European leaders in the industry and the latter’s loss is the former’s gain.
Worth over PLN 1 billion, the market is growing at an annual clip of around 15 percent and could expand by a quarter a year with a little effort, the daily writes. (an)
